Many men are very particular with their looks and the way they wear clothes. I know this also holds true to women. But in my own experience and in the social strata where I move, the men I know are more fastidious when purchasing jeans.
They have this particular mindset that having an acquired taste in clothing puts them in a better position to get a vote of confidence from women they want to “impress.” Uhh! How egoistic can they get, oozing with over-inflated masculinity.
Well, I’m glad I don’t fall under that category. I grew up in an environment where “simple things” and a practical approach to life are the norms. This is reflected in my choice of clothing, whether I buy shirts or jeans.
While I have not really conditioned my mind to stick to one brand, I more or less, have set a certain standard when making purchases of clothes I wear. In comparison, choosing jeans are more important to me than shirts. I go for those which I can use for every occasion under the sun. But over and above that, comfort is utmost in my mind once I decide to buy a new pair.
