Majority of people subtly manifest the concept of a general indifference to the way they look. This has always been the perception brought about by the use of “denim” tracing back to where and when it all began. Wearing denim jeans back then was not associated with fashion but more on its practicality.
We give credit to Strauss, the creator of Levi’s, who started it all. Initially, he introduced the use of strong fabric in trousers durable enough to withstand real, tough work. From then on, wearing denim jeans has evolved with two players entering the competition, Wrangler and Lee. To date, more companies have joined in as more people embraced the concept of its functionality.
When I was a little younger, I remembered my dad telling me that having a pair of Levi’s during his youthful days was really something to be proud of. It symbolized teenage defiance as portrayed in television shows. At that time, styles were quite simple and with the introduction of new and modern ideas and technology, fashion also followed along.
Two years back, I purchased Levi’s Men Red Tab Carpenter jeans. This is one of a few pairs I have which I really cherished. The fit is loose from the thighs down which gives me all the comfort I need. I find this pair just perfect and not tight at all.
The Men’s Red Tab Carpenter jeans also feature several pockets which have proved useful to me. There are times when I just hate to carry a bag whenever I go out. I make use of all these pockets to put in some of my personal stuff to allow me more mobility. The material used feels so good. It’s great having the Men’s Red Tab Carpenter jeans because I could wear them anywhere I go and I never had problems in finding cotton shirts to pair it with.
This pair has somehow faded though which is actually my preference. I like to wear jeans a lot more when they have lost some color. In a month from now, I plan to buy the same style because I am convinced this style looks good on me, not to mention the fact that the price is just reasonable.
At present I live with my family in the city as I found it very easy to commute to where I work. Occasionally, my kids and I visit my parents who have opted to stay in a sleepy town where I was born. They love having a simple lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
In one of my visits, I bought dad a new pair of Levi’s mens carpenter jeans. When I gave it to him he was so excited about it, and right away went to his room to try it out. It fitted him so well and my mom said my purchase was timely as many of his working jeans have already worn out.
It was a bit bigger for him but he liked the pair, nonetheless. He felt so comfortable wearing it and told mom to buy another pair for him when she goes to the city.
Four months after, my family and I went back to visit my parents once again. I gave dad a surprise by purchasing him a second pair of mens carpenter jeans. He was so grateful to have it and told me the first one I gave had some loose thread already.
According to him, he wasn’t complaining since he regularly uses the pair at work. In the future, he would purchase more to add to his collection because the level of comfort he experiences in wearing them is rare to find, so he asserts.
